Laurent Magnenat

Laurent Magnenat has extensive experience in the field of pharmacology, particularly in biosimilars. Currently, Laurent serves as the Senior Director of Nonclinical Pharmacology and CMC Statistics at Fresenius Kabi SwissBiosim, following a role as Director and Head of Nonclinical Pharmacology at Merck Group, where responsibilities included overseeing the entire nonclinical pharmacology biosimilar development process. Prior to this, Laurent held various positions at Merck Serono, including Associate Director and Principal Scientist, focusing on biosimilar development and therapeutic antibody discovery. Laurent's career began at The Scripps Research Institute as a postdoctoral fellow, specializing in the rational design of transcription factors. Laurent holds a PhD and MSc in Biology from Université de Fribourg and completed postdoctoral work in Cellular and Molecular Biology at Scripps Research.
