Ben Mead

Ben Mead is an experienced logistics and operations professional with a comprehensive background in warehouse and transport management. Currently serving as Distribution Shift Manager at Fresh Direct (UK) since December 2024, Ben has held significant roles at Poundland & Dealz, including Transport Shift Manager and DC Transport Manager, from July 2024 to December 2024 and October 2022 to May 2024, respectively. Prior to this, Ben worked at Warburtons as Transport and Warehouse Operations Manager and Transport Team Manager from October 2013 to September 2022. Ben's career began at Tesco Distribution from October 2006 to August 2013 in various managerial positions and spans earlier roles as Retail Store Manager at various companies from 1997 to 2006. Ben holds a GNVQ level 2 in Leisure and Tourism from Harlow College and completed education at Mark Hall School.
