Stormy Cole

Stormy Cole has a diverse work experience in the healthcare industry. Stormy began their career in 1988 at Mosaic Health Care, starting in Sterile Processing and later becoming a scrub technician in the operating room. Stormy also worked as a triage transporter in the Emergency room and as a Private Duty aide. After graduating from nursing school, they worked in the float pool and on the medical-telemetry floor.

In 2001, Stormy joined Southview Home Health as a Care Manager until 2007. Stormy then worked at Homeward Bound/Silver Linings Health Care from 2008 to 2010, where they served as the Intake Manager, Education Coordinator, and Case Manager. Stormy implemented an electronic medical records system and a comprehensive care plan system.

From 2010 to 2013, Stormy worked at Saxton Health Care Inn as the Director of Nursing, responsible for managing a large nursing and nursing assistant staff, forming policies and procedures, and supervising medical care for patients.

In 2012, they joined Pure Home Health as the Executive Director, handling day-to-day administrative duties and demonstrating knowledge in OASIS, federal and state regulations, and policy and procedure formation.

From 2016 to 2018, Stormy worked at Amedisys as the Manager of Amedisys Home Health of Lees Summit, MO. Stormy'srole involved managing operations, finances, and data analysis for agency growth, as well as ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.

Stormy Cole received their Master's Degree in Nursing and Nursing Leadership from Missouri Western State University. Stormy completed their education at this institution from 1992 to 2013.
