John Åkerlund

John Long is an experienced technical support engineer currently serving as a Senior Technical Support Engineer at Berlin Packaging since October 2023. Previously, John held various roles, including System Engineer at Vital Proteins, where responsibilities included migrating the company's infrastructure after its acquisition by Nestle Health Science. John also worked as an IT Analyst at Mechdyne Corporation, providing expert technical support to clients while utilizing advanced applications and tools. Other experience includes serving as Integration Lead Tech Tier II-III at Zones, Inc., Project Designer at W-T Engineering, and a Web Designer/Help Desk Intern at Severity Design. John is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology at Arizona State University, having previously obtained an Associate's degree in Computer Science from Elgin Community College.
