Waheera Mardah

Waheera Mardah, MPA, currently serves as a 2024 Fellow at the Council of Urban Professionals, participating in a leadership development program aimed at enhancing the impact of diverse professionals in the civic sectors. As a Senior Consultant at FSG since August 2021, Waheera manages a team focused on strategies for positive social change and client relationship management. Previously, Waheera was the Senior Project Manager at the New York City Economic Development Corporation, where responsibilities included leading economic development initiatives and fostering community partnerships. Waheera's career also includes experience as a District Manager for the New York State Assembly and a Bronx Liaison at the Office of NYC Comptroller, as well as positions in public affairs and early professional experience as an intern. Waheera holds an MPA from NYU and a Bachelor's degree in History/Political Science from The College of Saint Rose.
