Jeffrey Lau

Jeffrey Lau is an accomplished geotechnical engineer with extensive experience in various projects and roles within the geotechnical field. Currently serving as an Associate at FSG Geotechnics & Foundations, Jeffrey provides geotechnical design support for significant infrastructure projects, including the West Gate Tunnel Project and rail upgrades. Previously, as a Senior Geotechnical Engineer at KELLER, Jeffrey managed the geotechnical risks and design optimization for large-scale projects, contributing to a major railway project in Malaysia. Jeffrey's academic background includes a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Geotechnical and Geoenvironmental Engineering from the University of Cambridge, where research focused on environmentally sustainable soil stabilization methods. Earlier professional experience includes conducting soil investigations and analytical modeling as a Geotechnical Engineer at Cardno Lane Piper.
