Patrick Carolus

Patrick Carolus has comprehensive experience in legal practice and academia, currently serving as Advocate General of the Brussels Court of Appeal and Deputy Prosecutor General at the same court. Since 2000, Patrick has been a Visiting Professor at Haute Ecole 'Francisco Ferrer'​ de la Ville de Bruxelles and a Lecturer at Solvay Brussels School of Economics & Management. Additionally, Patrick contributes to the Belgian Judicial Training Institute as a member of the Scientific Committee and has been involved with the European Commission as a member of the Expert Group on EU Criminal Policy. Patrick's background includes work as a Senior Associate at A&O Shearman and as an Assistant Professor in Contract Law at UCLouvain. Patrick's education includes advanced studies in law from institutions such as Harvard Kennedy School and UCLouvain, along with participation in the International Visitor Leadership Program focused on Environmental Crime.
