Tim Gieles

Tim Gieles is an experienced legal and financial professional with a strong background in supervision and compliance. Currently serving as Coordinator at FSMA since May 2013, Tim Gieles oversees intermediaries, financial service providers, and AML policy, while also fulfilling the role of legal counsel for supervision of financial intermediaries. Prior experience includes serving as an Account Manager at H/Advisors Cicero from May 2010 to April 2013, where involvement included the design and implementation of public affairs and communications campaigns for major businesses. Tim Gieles began a career with a position as Project Assistant at AmCham Belgium and as a Blue Book Trainee at the European Commission. Educational qualifications include an LL.M. and an LL.B. in European law from Maastricht University, complemented by foundational education at Stedelijk Gymnasium 's-Hertogenbosch.
