Thaleia Travasarou

Thaleia Travasarou is an accomplished professional in geotechnical and geoenvironmental engineering, currently serving as the Regional Technical Director for Land Site Characterization Americas at Fugro since May 2004. Over the years, Thaleia has held various leadership roles including Manager of Land GeoConsulting Americas and Principal Engineer leading the Earthquake Engineering Group. Prior experience includes a post-doctoral researcher position at UC Berkeley, where research focused on soil-structure interaction and liquefaction triggering potential. Thaleia holds a Ph.D. in Geotechnical and Geoenvironmental Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley, and a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens.
