Ricardo Inglez de Souza

Ricardo Inglez de Souza is a distinguished legal professional with extensive experience in competition and antitrust law, compliance, and international trade. Currently serving as a Partner at IW Melcheds Advogados since January 2015, Ricardo is responsible for leading various practices including crisis management. Ricardo's previous roles include partnership at notable law firms such as Inglez Werneck Advogados, De Vivo, Whitaker e Castro Advogados, and Dias Carneiro Advogados, where expertise in merger control, trade remedies, and anti-corruption compliance was cultivated. An educator, Ricardo has been a Professor of Law at FAAP since July 2023. Educational credentials include a Master of Laws in Economic Law from Pontifícia Universidade Católica de São Paulo and an Executive Education program at Harvard Business School. Additionally, Ricardo is the author of the book "O Dogma do Cartel e a Seletividade do Direito Concorrencial Brasileiro."
