Chris Nicol is an accomplished electrical engineer with extensive experience in the development of collaborative technology solutions. Currently employed at SMART Technologies since July 2010, Chris is actively involved in creating hardware for innovative Digital Vision Touch (DViT) interactive whiteboards and other educational devices. Previous roles include firmware engineering at SMART Technologies, electronics contracting for the Science Alberta Foundation, and electronics engineering at Grindcom, where Chris contributed to control systems for the forestry industry. Additionally, Chris served as a teaching assistant at the University of Calgary while earning a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering. Chris obtained a Bachelor of Technology in Electronics Engineering from DeVry Institute of Technology.
