Giampaolo Frello is a seasoned electrical engineer with extensive experience in managing complex projects within the energy sector. Currently serving as a Technical Officer at Fusion for Energy since September 2016, Giampaolo coordinates on-site engineering efforts for the JT-60SA fusion experiment, a collaborative initiative between Japan and the European Union. Prior roles include Lead Electrical Engineer and Electrical Projects in Execution Manager at Saipem, where responsibilities encompassed project management and technical oversight for significant oil and gas initiatives. Giampaolo's expertise was forged through positions as Technical Advisor in Saipem India, Electrical Superintendent for SNAMPROGETTI in Saudi Arabia, and Lead Field Electrical Engineer for TSKJ and other companies. Giampaolo holds an engineering degree in Electrical Engineering from the Università degli Studi di Padova and a technical diploma in Industrial Electrical Engineering from I.T.I.S. "E. Fermi."
