Margaret Goyette

Margaret Goyette is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in various roles across nonprofit and corporate sectors. Currently serving as Controller at the Future of Life Institute since November 2024, Margaret has held key positions including Accounting Manager at Customer.io and Treasurer for the Portland Fruit Tree Project. Prior experience includes serving as Finance Director for 826 Valencia, Finance Consultant for multiple organizations including NewSchools Venture Fund and Oakland Leaf Foundation, and Senior Accountant at Tipping Point Community. Margaret Goyette's work has focused on helping organizations scale sustainably and operate efficiently, with a career spanning over a decade in finance. Educationally, Margaret holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from Northeastern University and is a candidate for an Honors degree in Economics & Finance from McGill University.
