Satomi Akaza

Satomi Akaza is a seasoned procurement and supply chain professional with extensive experience in the pharmaceutical and consumer goods industries. Currently serving as CMO/Packaging Procurement project support at Galderma since January 2022, Satomi leads sourcing processes, develops RFQs, standardizes component bases, negotiates contracts, and implements sustainability roadmaps. Previously, as Supply Chain Manager at Dr Burgener Switzerland, operational excellence and customer satisfaction were prioritized across all supply chain functions. Satomi's earlier experience includes a decade at SUNSTAR SUISSE SA, progressing from Buyer to a pivotal role in developing purchasing strategies and overseeing ERP system implementations. Educational background includes a Master's degree in International Economics from the Geneva Graduate Institute and a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Yokohama National University.
