Edgar Oliveira

Edgar Oliveira is an experienced cybersecurity professional currently serving as the Head of Cyber Security at Galp since May 2020. Prior to this role, Edgar held various positions at Richemont from April 2012 to March 2020, including Global Manager for CSIRT & CyberTech, where responsibilities encompassed leading incident response efforts and managing security monitoring within a global context. Additional roles at Richemont included overseeing security risk and compliance technology and coordinating global security operations. Edgar also has experience as an IT consultant at Altran Switzerland and Novabase, and an internship at IBM Global Services focused on business continuity. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Computer Engineering from Instituto Superior Técnico and a certificate in Tech Leadership and Management from Porto Business School, expected in 2025.
