Sharon Tamai

Sharon Tamai is an experienced Rail Systems Manager currently serving as the Construction Delivery Lead for the Suburban Rail Loop East Line-wide Package Alliance tender at Gamuda Australia since January 2024. Previously, Sharon held the position of Manager, Rail Systems at ACCIONA Australia from September 2020 to January 2024, overseeing multiple high-profile projects such as the Sydney Metro West and the Inland Rail Gowrie to Kagaru tender. Sharon's earlier roles include Rail Systems, Commissioning & Operational Readiness Manager at Lendlease, Project Manager at John Holland, and Project Engineer at both Laing O'Rourke and Sydney Trains. Sharon holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Civil & Environmental (First Class Honours) from the University of Technology Sydney, a Diploma in Project Management from the University of New England, and partially completed a Bachelor of Veterinary Science at the University of Sydney.
