Rehab Jaffer is an experienced barrister currently practicing at Garden Court Chambers since April 2021 and has also taken on the role of Independent Consultant at the Accountability Unit. Prior experience includes serving as a Public Inquiry Paralegal at the Cabinet Office and as a Research Consultant for the Independent People's Tribunal. Between October 2019 and December 2020, Rehab Jaffer worked as a Judicial Assistant to Justices of Appeal at the Ministry of Justice UK. Other roles include a Paralegal position at SLATER & GORDON (UK) LLP and internships with the European Human Rights Advocacy Centre and the European Children's Rights Unit. Education encompasses a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Liverpool, a Master of Laws in Public International Law from Leiden University, and completion of the Bar Professional Training Course at BPP University. Additionally, participation in a Master Class on Mapping, Documenting, and Prosecuting Mass Atrocities took place at the Inter-University Centre Dubrovnik.
