Skooby Laposky is an experienced music consultant, recording artist, and creative director with a diverse background in sound design, music composition, and artistic collaboration. Currently involved with the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum's Neighborhood Salon Luminaries Program since December 2022, Laposky fosters a vibrant exchange of ideas among Boston's cultural and artistic communities. As a recording artist under myndstream, Laposky produces new age folk music that incorporates biodata sonification. Additional roles include freelance consulting and DJing for the Massachusetts College of Art and Design, as well as past projects with IDEO, WAAVES Studio, and The Art Institute of Chicago. Laposky's film scoring and sound design work has been featured by notable organizations such as First Thought Films and Neato Robotics. Laposky holds an MFA in drawing, video, and new media from Cranbrook Academy of Art.
