Fawad Zakariya

Fawad Zakariya is currently an advisor at Gated. Prior to that, they were the Senior Vice President, Self-Serve Growth, Corporate & Business Development at Neo4j from June 2017 to April 2022. In this role, they were responsible for the DBaaS self serve growth business and strategic technology partnerships & acquisitions.

Before Neo4j, Fawad was the Vice President, Corporate & Business Development at Ping Identity from January 2015 to December 2017. And before Ping Identity, Fawad was the Vice President, Global Business Development, Partnering & Channel Sales at SAP from January 2005 to December 2013.

Throughout their career, Fawad has been responsible for revenue growth, leading growth marketing teams, product-led sales teams, developer relations teams, and community teams. Fawad has also built and grown partnerships with top cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, Azure) and data & analytics ISVs (Looker, Databricks, Snowflake etc.).

Fawad has a wealth of experience in the enterprise database software space. Fawad is currently based in San Mateo, California but has also spent time in Sweden and the UK.

Fawad Zakariya has a MBA in Finance and Entrepreneurship from The Wharton School as well as a BA in Economics from Haverford College.
