Leslie Moreland

Leslie Moreland is a Senior Programme Officer for Evaluation and Learning at Gavi, the Vaccine Alliance, with experience leading evaluations of Gavi’s response to COVID-19 and the COVAX Facility. Moreland has developed the Gavi Learning System Strategy and has managed various evaluations and strategic initiatives throughout the organization. Prior to this role, Moreland worked as a Global Public Health and WASH Consultant and a Research Analyst for the World Health Organization. Moreland's background includes extensive program management experience with WaterAid Canada and World Literacy Canada, focusing on water, sanitation, hygiene, and education initiatives. Educational qualifications include an MSc in Public Health in Developing Countries from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine and a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Studies from Queen's University.
