Pierre Richard

Pierre Richard has extensive experience in data governance and IT management, currently serving as the Head of Data Governance, Data Protection and Analytics at Gavi, the Vaccine Alliance since September 2007. In this role, Pierre is responsible for developing and implementing a multi-year data strategy to enhance data management practices and transform Gavi into an Insight Driven Organization. Prior to Gavi, Pierre held positions including Service Desk Manager at Renault Nissan Suisse SA, where responsibilities included leading IT support for Swiss garages, and as an IT System Engineer at Computacenter, specializing in disaster recovery and business continuity. Pierre's educational background includes a BTS in Information Technology and a BAC in Mechanical Engineering.
