Jean-Damien Capdeville

Jean-Damien Capdeville is an experienced engineering professional currently serving as Deputy Engineering Director at GTT (Gaztransport & Technigaz) since October 2012, where responsibilities include heading the Structure department and providing technical advice to the Technical Director. Key projects involve managing scientific and technical endeavors to assess and control the performance and safety of cryogenic insulation technologies for liquid methane transport. Prior experiences span various roles, including Hydro simulation and boat performance analyst, and engineering consultant at ALTEN, with significant contributions in projects related to steam turbine auxiliary systems, EGR and turbo cooling systems integration, and performance simulations for the 32nd America's Cup team. Academically, Jean-Damien holds a DEA in Mechanics and Materials from Centrale Paris and studied at Ecole Normale Supérieure de Cachan.
