Dirk Colenbrander

Dirk Colenbrander has extensive maritime experience, currently serving as Safety Manager, DPA, and CSO at GBA Ships e.V. since September 2003, responsible for ensuring safe operations on board and facilitating communication between the company and onboard personnel. Prior to this role, Dirk worked at Spliethoff from September 1993 to July 2003, progressing through positions including Captain and Chief Officer, as well as serving as a First Maritime Officer on a rotation system. Dirk's early career at Spliethoff began as a Cadet from July 1992 to July 1993. Dirk holds a degree from Maritiem Instituut IJmond and a High School Diploma from Ulenhof College.
