Christopher Tohru Guignon is an experienced architect and educator, currently serving as an Associate and Project Architect at GBBN Architects since July 2021. With a longstanding role as an Adjunct Professor and Design Instructor at the University of Pittsburgh since January 2014, Christopher teaches courses in System-Based Design and Sustainability and Housing. Previous experience includes positions as an Associate and Senior Project Manager at evolve environment::architecture, a Junior Architect at Safdie Architects, and Managing Editor at Thresholds, MIT's critical journal of architecture. Christopher began their career as a Design Intern at Front Studio Architects. Educational qualifications include an MArch in Architectural Design from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a BA in Architectural Studies and Philosophy from the University of Pittsburgh.
