Leon P.i.m. Hombergen

Leon P.I.M. Hombergen currently serves as Fractievoorzitter Gemeenteraad Delft, leading the PvdA faction and participating in the Economic, Finance, and Governance Committee. With extensive experience at Rijkswaterstaat since 1995, Leon has held various senior advisory roles focusing on procurement and innovation, including involvement in notable projects like Innova58 and Solar Highways. Additionally, Leon has contributed as an Assistant Professor at TU Delft, guiding MSc students in civil construction management. Past leadership roles include chairing the Water Safety and Water Chain Commission at the Hoogheemraadschap van Delfland and serving on multiple advisory boards. Education includes a Masters in Civil Engineering and additional qualifications in leadership and innovation management.
