Niels Franken

Niels Franken is an experienced Directievoerder with a strong background in project management within municipal engineering. Currently serving as Directievoerder for both Gemeente Gooise Meren and Gemeente Utrecht, Niels is involved in significant infrastructure projects such as the herinrichting of Beerensteinerlaan and major sewer works in the Zeeheldenbuurt. Previous roles include Directievoerder at Antea Group Nederland, focusing on the Kolenkitbuurt development, and extensive experience with the Ingenieursbureau van de gemeente Amsterdam, where Niels led various projects in the Zuidas area. Additional experiences include founding Led-vest and managing significant projects like the relocation of the tennis park Joy Jaagpad. Niels has also held supervisory roles in multiple municipalities, demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of civil engineering and oversight in public works.
