Hans Rijzenga

Hans Rijzenga is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in public policy and management. Currently serving as a Senior beleidsmedewerker openbare ruimte at gemeente Gouda since September 2008, responsibilities include advising on various policies such as waste management, unexploded WWII ordnance, dog regulations, ice control strategies, and market operations. Previously, Hans acted as coordinator for special projects at Gemeente Den Haag from 1998 to 2008 and worked as a juridisch beleidsmedewerker at gemeente Groningen in 1995-1996. Hans holds a master's degree in staats- en bestuursrecht and economisch recht from the University of Groningen, completed between 1977 and 1982.
