Michael de Baat is an experienced urban development advisor currently working at Gemeente Haaksbergen since January 2022, focusing on spatial developments in rural areas, urban settings, and industrial sites. Prior to this, Michael served as an advisor for spatial development at YER and as an advisor for urban transformation at TAUW Group, where support was provided to project leaders on urban and infrastructural projects. Michael has also completed significant internships, including a master's thesis involving the analysis of zoning plans for industrial areas at the Ministry of BZK and a design research project on recreational green-blue connectors in Delft for the Province of Zuid-Holland.
