Petra Filius

Petra Filius possesses extensive experience in strategic policy development and management within the social domain. Currently serving as Afdelingshoofd beleid en bedrijfsvoering sociaal domein and Teamleider beleid en ontwikkeling sociaal domein at Gemeente Huizen since January 2010, Petra oversees a team of 16 FTE advisors and is involved in various policy initiatives related to education, sports, culture, and social welfare. Previous roles include Strategisch beleidsadviseur sociaal domein, focusing on strategic policy development, and Senior beleidsadviseur maatschappelijke ontwikkeling, with responsibilities in project leadership and coordination within the social domain. Prior to Gemeente Huizen, Petra worked at Gemeente Amersfoort as Beleidsadviseur maatschappelijke ontwikkeling and at Wageningen Environmental Research and Wageningen University & Research in advisory and research roles. Petra holds a Master of Science in Sociology from Wageningen University & Research.
