Martijn van der Wijst

Martijn van der Wijst has extensive experience in public space management and project leadership within the Dutch municipal sector. Currently serving as Coördinator Beheer Openbare Ruimte at Gemeente Laarbeek since December 2024, Martijn previously held the position of Projectleider openbare ruimte at Gemeente Gemert-Bakel from June 2019 to December 2024. Prior experience includes roles as Projectleider at Dolmans Landscaping Group bv, Uitvoerder at Van Esch Groenvoorzieningen BV, and Uitvoerder at van Doorn Infra, where Martijn was involved in various infrastructure projects such as sewer system transformations and public space maintenance. Martijn's career began at ARCADIS, focusing on sewer renovation projects. Educational qualifications include a degree in Landscape and Garden Engineering from Stoas Wageningen and additional education from SUAS - A Schouten & Nelissen Company.
