Björn Ros

Björn Ros has extensive experience in leadership and information management, currently serving as Fractievoorzitter for GroenLinks since March 2018, where responsibilities include shaping the local party's vision and strategy. Ros has been the Head of the Law Library at Erasmus University Rotterdam since 2003, previously holding the position of Information Specialist at the same institution. Additionally, Ros has been a member of the Gemeente Ridderkerk council since 2002 and has actively participated in the RaadsCommissie Samen Wonen. Ros also contributes to the profession as treasurer for the Koninklijke Nederlandse Vereniging van Informatieprofessionals and served as secretary for the Nederlandse Vereniging voor Beroepsbeoefenaren in de bibliotheek-, informatie- en kennissector from 2006 to 2012. Previous roles include chairing the Stichting 0180 Festivals and working as a librarian at the Berlage Institute. Educational background includes studies at Fontys University of Applied Sciences and Mercatus College, with a focus on International Business.
