Paul De Swaef possesses a strong background in supply chain management and operations, holding various leadership roles across multiple companies. Currently serving as Schepen of Spatial Planning, Heritage, Housing, and Sports for Gemeente Schoten since January 2019, Paul previously held significant positions at Stryker as VP Supply Chain Operations EMEA and Baxter Healthcare in multiple director roles focusing on supply chain integration and logistics. Paul’s extensive experience includes managing distribution centers, leading customer service operations, and overseeing technical services for medical equipment across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. Paul is a graduate of Vlerick Business School and holds a master's degree in Financial and Administrative Management from the Instituut voor Economisch Hoger Onderwijs.
