Lars Carree

Lars Carree currently serves as Wethouder and Locoburgemeester at Gemeente Zandvoort since June 2022, overseeing portfolios in tourism, economy, sustainability, nature, youth, education, sports, and public health. Concurrently, Lars is the CEO of Medi-Rent and Carree Consultancy, both specializing in risk and crisis management since 2005. Prior experience includes a managerial role in safety and strategic crisis advisory at Spaarne Gasthuis, focusing on policy development in social and physical safety, as well as various teaching positions in emergency nursing and healthcare. Lars holds a Master of Laws in Crisis and Public Order Management and a Bachelor's degree in Integral Safety, backed by extensive education in healthcare and security management.
