Matt Tompkins

Matt Tompkins currently serves as the Senior Vice President of Human Resources at GEMS Education and Vice President of GEMS For Life, an initiative focused on supporting students and alumni through employability and university partnerships. Previously, Matt held prominent leadership positions including Principal/CEO at GEMS FirstPoint School and GEMS School of Digital Futures, as well as Principal and Vice Principal roles at Skinners' Kent Academy. Early in their career, Matt served as an Assistant Head Teacher at Swan Valley Community School and Advanced Skills Teacher at Angley School. Matt Tompkins holds a Master's degree in Leadership and Management in Schools from Canterbury Christ Church University and a Bachelor of Arts in PE and Geography with QTS from the University of Brighton.
