Ryan Thatcher

Ryan Thatcher is an experienced educator currently serving as the CAS Coordinator, IBDP Business Management Teacher, and Core Teacher at Dubai American Academy under GEMS Education since September 2015. With a strong background in educational leadership, Ryan has held various roles including Teaching and Learning Coordinator and Head of Department for Social Studies, focusing on pedagogical development, teacher support, and curriculum enhancement. Prior to their career in education, Ryan worked in sales and marketing roles within the healthcare sector, including at DePuy Synthes and Pfizer. Ryan holds a Bachelor of Education (Hons) in Education Management, Law, and Policy from the University of Pretoria, along with degrees in Sport Management and a Post Graduate Certificate in Education.
