Shaheela Khadeeja

Shaheela Khadeeja has over 17 years of extensive experience in the insurance and risk management sector. Currently serving as Head Of Insurance at GEMS Education since August 2013, Shaheela leads the organization's insurance contracts, focusing on minimizing financial risk exposure and ensuring compliance. Previous roles include Risk Insurance Manager at Belhasa Group of Companies, where advisory support was provided to senior management on risk management and insurance operations, and Supervisor of General Insurance at Sun Insurance Brokers LLC, responsible for underwriting, claims handling, and the development of underwriting best practices. Shaheela holds an Executive MBA from SP Jain School of Global Management and a BBM in Business Management from St Agnes College.
