Zaineb Mahdi

Zaineb Mahdi is a seasoned educational professional currently serving as a Member of the GEMS Innovation Committee since September 2022, focused on driving innovation strategy and educational technology implementation across the GEMS network. Additionally, Zaineb has been the Assistant Head and Director of Innovation and Digital Technology at GEMS Wellington International School since August 2017, overseeing initiatives in the Wellington and Jumeirah cluster. Zaineb also holds the position of Head of Computer Science and Assessment Specialist for Cambridge Assessment International Education since September 2019, contributing expertise in iGCSE Computer Science assessment. Prior experiences include serving as Head of House at Heartlands High School and as a Computer Science Teacher at Stepney Green Maths Computing & Science College. Zaineb holds a PGCE in Secondary Computer Science from the Institute of Education and a Bachelor of Science in Business and IT from the University of Westminster.
