Phuc Nguyen

Phuc Nguyen is a Data Scientist at Gene Solutions since June 2023. Prior experience includes serving as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the National Institute of Informatics from April 2017 to April 2023, where notable projects involved constructing a domain knowledge graph for about 5 million Japanese companies and developing an Inter-domain Data Exchange Platform for AI and machine learning interoperability. Phuc also designed innovative models for automatic tabular data labeling utilizing knowledge graphs and contributed to semantic labeling of numerical values in tabular data. Previous roles include Research Intern at the National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology and the National Institute of Informatics, along with a Lectureship at the University of Information Technology, where instruction covered programming and data structures. Phuc holds a PhD in Information Technology from The Graduate University for Advanced Studies, a Master’s degree in Computer Science, and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, both from the University of Information Technology.
