Simon Sheard

Dr.Simon Sheard Graduated from Midwestern University’s Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed a family medicine residency at St Joseph’s hospital in Phoenix. Dr. Sheard has been Board Certified in Family Medicine since 2013 and is the Lead Physician for the Banner Maricopa Health Clinic. Dr. Sheard believes that partnering with patients and working as a multidisciplinary team is the best way to achieve health and drive better outcomes. He has led Banner’s Integrative Behavioral health Pilot and partnered with Banner Alzheimer’s institute with the goal of standardizing screening, diagnosis of early treatment of dementia in the primary care setting. Dr. Sheard volunteers for the Gila County Sheriff’s Department to teach Wilderness First Aid to deputies and Tonto Rim Search and Rescue and volunteers as an Advanced Swift Water Technician, Angle Rope Specialist, and Rapid Canyon Access Specialist. He is affiliated with Midwestern University and A.T. Still University teaching 3rd and 4th-year medical students.
