Danial Mian

Danial Mian is a seasoned professional in well engineering and drilling operations, currently serving as Well Engineering Manager at Genel Energy PLC since January 2019, where responsibilities include planning and supporting drilling operations in the Middle East and East Africa while monitoring non-operated assets. Previously, Danial held the role of Senior Drilling Engineer/Project Delivery Manager for the Kurdistan Region of Iraq, successfully managing drilling campaigns during the global pandemic. With experience as a Project Manager at LUKOIL, Danial was responsible for planning a 2019 drilling campaign offshore Mexico and leading well engineering efforts in various locations. Earlier roles include Lead Drilling Engineer and Wellsite Drilling & Completions Engineer at Halliburton Consulting, and experiences covering diverse international drilling campaigns and high-pressure projects. Danial holds an Executive Program degree in Finance and Accounting from London Business School and a BS in Metallurgy and Materials Engineering from Ghulam Ishaq Khan Institute of Engineering Sciences and Technology.
