Christopher Rose

Christopher Rose is a seasoned professional in the field of proteomics, currently serving as Senior Director and Distinguished Scientist at Genentech since October 2016. Christopher has held various titles within the company, including Director of Discovery Proteomics and Principal Scientist. Prior to joining Genentech, Christopher was a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Harvard Medical School, where novel techniques for quantitative mass spectrometry were developed. Christopher's academic background includes earning a Ph.D. in Analytical Chemistry from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a BS in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Santa Clara University. Christopher's research experience includes work on novel instrumentation for Electron Transfer Dissociation and the development of specific aptamers in undergraduate studies.
