Raj Sodha

Raj Sodha is a seasoned professional in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology sectors, currently serving as the Disease Area Director for GI/GU cancers at Genentech since May 2011. In this role, Raj leads cross-functional teams to develop and maintain disease area strategies and evaluates external partnering opportunities. Prior experiences at Genentech also include positions such as Marketing Director for Cancer Immunotherapy, Field Marketing Director, and various Senior Product Manager roles for key oncology products. Earlier in Raj's career, experience was gained in investment banking at Merriman Curhan Ford, Goldman Sachs, Keefe, Bruyette & Woods, and Merrill Lynch. Raj holds an MBA from the University of California, Berkeley, and a BS in Finance from New York University.
