Gordon Cruess

Gordon Cruess is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in corporate law, primarily focused on mergers and acquisitions. Currently serving as Managing Director at General Atlantic since May 2015, Gordon has held various senior legal roles, including Senior Vice President and Associate General Counsel. Prior to this, Gordon practiced as an Associate at Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison LLP and Cravath, Swaine & Moore LLP. Gordon's academic background includes a Doctor of Law and Bachelor of Civil Law from McGill University, complemented by a visiting law program at Sciences Po and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Toronto. Gordon also gained early experience as a Parliamentary Intern with the Parliamentary Internship Program.
