Steven Wein

Steven Wein is a seasoned leader in optical sensor systems with extensive experience in the aerospace and defense sectors. Currently serving as Senior Director of Optical Sensor Systems in the Space Division at General Atomics since September 2023, Steven previously held the position of President at EO Vista from 2013 to September 2023. Their earlier roles include Director of ISR Strategic Development and Director of Optical Sensor Systems at BAE Systems, as well as President at National Sensor Systems and Terapulse. Steven's career began at Litton-Itek Optical Systems, Hughes Optical Systems, and Raytheon Optical Systems, where Steven held senior principal and principal engineer positions. Steven holds a Ph.D. and M.S. in Optical Sciences from the University of Arizona and a Bachelor of Science in Engineering Physics from the University of Colorado Boulder.
