Afan Rauf is an experienced technology professional with a robust background in network management, cyber security, and cloud computing. Currently serving as Network Leader at GE since February 2014, Afan has led operations across the Middle East and Africa, focusing on implementing innovative solutions such as Software Defined Networks and Cyber Security initiatives to enhance efficiency. Prior to GE, Afan held influential roles at IBM as a Senior Infrastructure Security Engineer, where emphasis was placed on security architecture for the King Abdullah Financial District project, and at Nokia Siemens Networks as a Senior Solutions Engineer, successfully architecting numerous IP engineering projects in EMEA and ASPAC regions. Additional experience includes roles at Motorola as an IP Core Engineer and Cyber Internet Service Provider as a Network Engineer. Afan holds an MS in Computer Information Systems from Boston University and a BS in Computer Science from the University of the Punjab.
