Meghan Thurlow is currently the Global Director of Public Affairs at GE, a position held since October 2014, where contributions include creating the company's first-ever U.S. public affairs strategy and managing large-scale policy campaigns. Prior experience includes serving as Director of Public Affairs at the U.S. Department of Transportation, overseeing national media relations and strategic communications, as well as roles at Burson-Marsteller managing communications for Ford Motor Company. Additional roles include Ohio Communications Staff for the Obama Presidential Campaign, Communications Director and Press Secretary for U.S. Senator Evan Bayh, and Associate Producer at Ruder Finn. Meghan Thurlow holds a Bachelor of Science in Journalism with a second major in English from Northwestern University.
