Mary Jo Reed

Mary Jo Reed is an experienced finance professional with a strong background in accounting and construction finance. Currently serving as Controller at General Hotels Corporation since July 2024, Mary Jo previously held the same title at VS Engineering, Inc. from May 2023 to July 2024. Prior to that, Mary Jo worked at Duke Realty Corporation for over two decades as Senior Manager of Construction Accounting, responsible for job cost accounting policies, 404 compliance for construction projects, and managing a team of construction cost accountants. Earlier in Mary Jo's career, experience as a Project Accountant at Gilbane Building Company from 1992 to 1996 contributed to a solid foundation in the field. Mary Jo holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from IUPUI and also attended Purdue University.
