Erica Aldin is an accomplished R&D professional with extensive experience in the food industry. Currently serving as an Associate Principal R&D Scientist at General Mills since February 2023, Erica previously held the position of Senior Formulation Scientist at Mars Petcare US, where responsibilities included leading nutritional formulation for various wet cat food brands and ensuring compliance with AAFCO and Mars Petcare guidelines. Earlier roles include Senior Product Developer at Hearthside Food Solutions and Senior Scientist at Mondelēz International, where Erica provided R&D support for cookies and crackers at the Chicago Nabisco Bakery and spearheaded key projects, including the integration of whole grains into products. Erica holds an M.S. in Food Science from Iowa State University and a B.S. in Food and Nutrition from Arizona State University, along with additional training from AIB International.
