Yue Ma is an accomplished professional in the field of mechanical and automotive engineering, currently serving as a Subject Matter Expert in Propulsion Systems at General Motors since October 2015, focusing on the development of next-generation hybrid and electric vehicle propulsion systems. Prior experience includes positions as Technical Advisor and Applied Mechanics Manager at Cummins Inc., where powertrain systems were developed using simulation tools, and as Lead Engineer at AVL, contributing to the development of various drive systems and battery modules. Earlier roles include Lead Engineer at Faurecia, specializing in automotive emissions control systems, and Assistant Professor at South China University of Technology, where automotive engineering courses were taught. Yue Ma holds a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Toledo, along with a Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the same institution, a Master’s Degree in Automotive Engineering from South China University of Technology, and a Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Design from Jilin University.
