Andrew Newington

Andrew Newington has extensive experience in investment management and finance, currently serving as a Senior Advisor at Generation Investment Management since March 2021. Prior to this role, Andrew was the Chief Investment Officer at Actis from December 2015 to December 2020 and held the position of Managing Partner at BC Partners from March 2000 to March 2013. Additional experience includes serving as Principal at BT Capital Partners from August 1998 to March 2000 and working as a Solicitor at Ashurst from February 1992 to July 1996. Andrew holds a Master of Business Administration in International Finance from Columbia Business School (1996-1998) and a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Exeter.
